In this lesson students will explore the motivations of decision makers on their issue, receive peer feedback and think about effective win/win pitches to achieve their intended results.

Determine an author's point of view or purpose in a text and analyze how the author acknowledges and responds to conflicting evidence or viewpoints.
Analyze the impact and the appropriate roles of personal interests and perspectives on the application of civic virtues, democratic principles, constitutional rights, and human rights.
