Unit 2: Introducing Elections

As we jump into Elections in Action, students will explore and analyze the power of the vote, the history of enfranchisement over time and how their own values guide them in taking a stand on major issues. By beginning with an understanding of students' own views, we can begin to consider how we react to candidates and campaigns and think of our own role in a democratic society.
