Unit 2: Analyze the School Community

Now that the SVC has established its goals, inventoried its strengths, and established its norms, it has work to do! First it needs to assess the condition of the school. To do this, the SVC will develop a school profile, identifying assets and challenges. Members will then conduct research in the form of a poll and/or interviews and will conclude this step with their first meeting with the principal to determine the top issues to focus on this year.
