Lesson 1: Women's History Month Lesson: Remember the Ladies

In this lesson, students will read excerpts of letters written between John and Abigail Adams. Students will complete a socratic seminar that asks them to look at the role of women in colonial America as well as the Founding Fathers' opinions on the rights of women at the time. Students willl then compare the colonial period to today.
